MÉZIÈRES METHOD

MÉZIÈRES METHOD

The Mézières Method is a complete work on the body-Self, a practice made of perception and movement: you make contact with the constraints of your body, you learn to control them and free yourself from them on your own. Part of the method:

  • stretching exercises
  • muscle toning and strengthening
  • breathing exercises
  • perceptive exercises
  • massage

The process begins with a postural and biomechanical assessment to focus on the primary interventions needed. Once chosen a body goal you will be accompanied to recover its functionality. Each session is different and the path is progressive, adapted to your personal physical condition, your movement abilities and the difficulties encountered in achieving your goals.

  • Better mobility and skeletal alignment: lesser chance of compressive phenomena, wear and overload on individual joints.
  • Balancing of muscle tension: lesser chance of contracture, inflammation and muscle-tendon injury.
  • Improvement of visceral and metabolic functions in general: possible benefits on digestion, reflux, circulation, improvement of rest, stress, etc.
