SECTION 1 - THE BODY-SELF
THIS VIDEOS ARE CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE IN YOUR LANGUAGE
Follow my guide to learn how to listen to the body: rotations, inclinations, elevations, micro-movements... and everything you need to start with proprioceptive exercise.
- Exercising "proprioception", the perception of one's body without the aid of sight, is a very useful activity for improving balance and the quality of body coordination, both when stationary and in movement.
- As demonstrated by neuroscience in more recent times, practicing focusing and perception activities also has an improving impact on the balance of the nervous system and on the greater coherence of emotional responses.
- Learning to build a body map and perceive its variations is also the fundamental basis of the more complex exercises you face with me and which you will partly find in this series of videos.
Material:
- Comfortable clothes
- A yoga/gymnastics mat
Warning!
Respect your body's timing! Don't force feelings of physical discomfort or unease, stop whenever you feel the need to.
It's more important than doing all the exercises!
